What a great use Nike Sportswear has gotten their hands into with this using old recycled magazines and transforming them into shoes. Nike just released the Women’s Premium Print Pack, is a limited edition set of three shoe styles, all made using shredded magazines.

The pack contains the Flash Macro Premium, the Blazer Mid Premium, and the Air Rift Premium. While the shoes have regular soles, strings, and other components, the main material used in each is a kind of laminated, stitched fabric created from old glossies. These will not be available in the states which is ok as I would not purchase anyway, but the idea is fantastic. Nike says they will only be available in Europe, China, and “select emerging markets.” Head over here for more detailed images.
